The Florida Storytelling Festival is a premier storytelling event, know nationally for its unique combination of workshops, concerts, youthful voices and sense of community.
People come from across the state of Florida and beyond to explore and savor the art of storytelling.
Our annual festival brings us together for listening to Featured Tellers, learning in Workshops, and telling your own story in Swaps. The festival encourages diversity, fellowship, and our youth.
After a year when just about every storytelling session was virtual, the Florida Storytelling Festival returns in January 2022 with live and in-person events at Mt. Dora’s historic Lakeside Inn.
Once again storytellers and fans of storytelling will gather under the big tent on the shore of Lake Dora.
